On 4 November 2026, a business dinner for the construction and building materials sector was held organised by the National Association of the Business People Society (İCMA), as part of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” declared for 2026. Meslehetci also attended the event.
The meeting, held at the Radisson Hotel Baku, brought together around 150 entrepreneurs, company executives and representatives of government bodies working in the production and sale of building materials, renovation and construction, real estate, architecture and design.

Speakers at the event included İCMA Board Chairman Tural Mustafayev; Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PhD in Economics Vugar Bayramov; Rector of Baku Engineering University Yagub Piriyev; Deputy Head of the State Agency for Construction Safety Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Elkhan Asadov; and Head of the Tax Policy Main Department of the State Tax Service Nijat Imanov.
Farid Hidayatzade, Member of the Management Board and Chief Corporate Sales Administrator at Kapital Bank OJSC; Khudagulu Rzayev, founder of Minera Group; Elmir Hajiyev, founder of S.I.G.N LTD; and Fuzuli Bayramov, İCMA Board Member and Chairman of the Window Manufacturers Commission, also addressed the participants.
Sector development prospects and business cooperation discussed
The speeches covered the development prospects of the construction sector, the challenges it currently faces, cooperation opportunities for entrepreneurs, and ways to strengthen relations between the state and business.
Speakers emphasised the importance of coordination between public and private institutions, experience sharing and direct business ties for the development of the sector.
During the event, representatives of the partner and sponsor companies that supported its organisation received awards, and presentation videos showcasing the work of various companies were screened.
