The Education Development Foundation (TİF) and the National Association of the Business People Society (İCMA) have signed a memorandum of cooperation.
On 3 September the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) hosted a joint event of the Education Development Foundation (TİF) and İCMA. Among those present were TİF board chairman Elnur Nasibov, İCMA board chairman Tural Mustafayev, AzTU rector Vilayat Valiyev, and some thirty İCMA members and Marsol Group partners from various sectors. A detailed presentation covered the Foundation work and projects, in particular the Karabakh scholarship programme and the Student+ and Education+ projects aimed at developing students knowledge and skills. These initiatives set out to widen educational opportunity for young people, encourage innovative approaches and contribute to the country human capital.
A memorandum of cooperation between the Foundation and İCMA was signed at the event. Under it the two sides will run joint projects in education and business, support students entry into the working world, and strengthen the bridge between employers and educational institutions.
An information tour followed, taking in the Peerstack Academy IT education project, the Library and Information Centre, and the model SME set up by KOBİA on the basis of international practice. The visitors heard about the work of each, the modern methods in use and what is available to students.
