What is the calculation based on?
The data is sent to the open calculator service of the State Customs Committee: vehicle type, engine type and volume, production date and price (US dollars). The list of payments and the total are shown exactly as the Committee returns them; dollars are converted to manat at the Central Bank rate.
What does the “Free Trade Agreement” option mean?
If both the country of origin (where the car was made) and the country it is imported from are parties to a Free Trade Agreement, no import duty is charged. In all other cases keep this option off.
Is the result the official amount?
No, the result is for information only. The official amount is set by the customs authority when the declaration is processed.
