On 22 May, during the Lankaran trip with Marsol Group partners, Meslehetci.az visited the Lankaran State Vocational Education Centre. The visit looked at how vocational education is developing in the region, what is provided for students, and the practical teaching environment.
Rashad Farajzada, deputy director for teaching and training, set out the centre work, its specialisms, its modern teaching facilities and what has been put in place to build students practical skills. The discussion also covered aligning vocational education with the demands of the labour market and developing young people professional abilities.
An information tour of the centre followed. The visitors saw classrooms, workshops and practice areas, and observed at first hand what students have to work with. The importance of developing vocational education in the regions, and the scope for cooperation, were discussed.
